| Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, and Agnetha Faltskog form the pop music dance group known as ABBA. There name is an acronym for the first letters of each of their names. Their success during the mid 1970's to early 1980's was brought about with the help of their catchy songwriting, simple lyrics, and the use of recording technology to make a full sound employing the two female voices of the group. Mamma Mia, a Broadway show, features music from ABBA and has been touring worldwide. |
