Bon Jovi was formed in 1983, from Sayreville, New Jersey. The band consists of band members, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres, David Bryan and Hugh McDonald, who replaced Alec John Such after his departure in 1994. Bon Jovi's debut lp was released in 1984, the single "Runaway" became a top 40 hit for the band, but it was with the release of their second lp, "Slippery When Wet" that catapulted Bon Jovi to superstar status. Bon Jovi has gone on to have a successful career spanning over 26 years and counting. The boys are preparing for a World Tour and are ready to rock.
