Saxophonist,Dave Koz started playing piano at the insistance of his mother when he was just a toddler. Though it was when he wanted to be in his brother's band, and having to learn to play the saxophone. Dave Koz attended and graduated from UCLA with a degree in mass communications, but his dream was to pursue a career as a professional musician. Dave did play with various musicians such as Bobby Caldwell, Jeff Lober, but he saw a desire to pursue a solo career, and has proved it was the right decision. Dave Koz has often been compared to David Sanborn and sometimes billed as the "second coming of Sanborn"
