The show provides a mixture of singing, dancing, performed by the all women's precision dance troupe Rockettes. This show has been a tradition since 1933 and is scheduled annually mid- November-December 30th. The show has changed and evolved through the years. Originally these shows were 30 minute performances, transformed into a 90 minute stand alone performances, when feature films ceased to play in the hall. A national road tour was started in 1994, and ran until 2003. In 2008 the national tour was launched using the 2007 75th Anniversary Version, and are currently playing in 31 selected cities in the United States.
